Carnivals 2013!

Hi guys! I just wanted to share (as Kendra said) my favorites photos/moments about the Carnivals. Hope you like them! 

This one is at the "Batalla de Flores" amazing boy!

 She is a friend and dance in the "Rumbón Normalista" every year. I found this pic in a page about the carnivals. She did it awesome! What about her facial expression?

 And the last one is the tribute that google posted!!! I really like it and it proves that clearly our carnival is recognized around the world :) so proud.

Barranquilla being the Cultural Capital of 2013!

Barranquilla was chosen as Cultural Capital of 2013 "by the will of the city determined to make culture a strategic element of social cohesion, civic revitalization, economic development and international projection". It means a development opportunity for Barranquilla as it allows us to promote a positive image of our city national and internationally. Barranquilla will also be recognized as a center of popular culture, heritage and diversity and is on the list of cities that will have a great development in the future. So we have a big responsibility but after that we will see good results.
